Sea Scattering

Disposing of human cremated remains can be awkward and sometimes embarrassing.

For one low price, we take care of everything -- including filing the necessary documents with the EPA. Scatterings are arranged by a fully licensed Coast Guard Master Captain. A handsome certificate, suitable for framing and commemorating the date and location of the scattering will be provided.

Our Atlantic ocean (off Fire Island Lighthouse) and South Pacific (off the tropical Island of Maui) scattering packages are described in detail below. Our packages are very inclusive; death certificates ($15.00 per copy in New York City) are about the only item you will have to add. For those who own cemetery property, the cremated remains can be interred in a family plot. Honorably discharged veterans (and their spouses) can take advantage of niche or grave space at Calverton National Cemetery in Calverton, New York. Veterans with high service awards may qualify for a niche at Arlington National Cemetery.

If you do not own memorial property, there are choices available however they can be expensive. You can purchase a grave or a niche in one of the many fine and reputable cemeteries or crematories in the Metropolitan area. Expenses can range between $800.00 - $5,000.00 for deeded space.

You can also choose to keep the cremated remains at home or you can scatter them yourself.
